Over £7.6m raised to support 150,000 children!

We've got some amazing news to share - the Scottish Children's Lottery has raised over £7.6 million for children in Scotland!

That's right, thanks to our players incredible support, we've been able to make a real difference to the lives of over 150,000 children and young people across the country.

The Cost-of-Living crisis has put a strain on many households this year and you’ve played a key part in supporting 20,000 children and families through these tough times by providing them with clothes, food and help with energy bills.

We all know how important it is to have a good network of people around you and funding from Scottish Children’s Lottery players has ensured that our young people have someone to turn to.

We're making a difference with your help!

Players like you help us support some amazing charities all across the country.

The Larder in West Lothian received £8,000 in funding from the Scottish Children’s Lottery.

This funding will be used to help support their Employability Transition Programme which supports young people with complex barriers who are usually disengaged from school or who may be experiencing levels of poverty.

This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing players who have helped us support charities all over the country.

In the North, Strathspey Works – Grantown Remakery received £5,000 of funding allowing them to provide Work Skills and Soft Skills development. The children learn practical skills in woodwork and have the opportunity to work with volunteers in craft work, painting, and upholstery.

We’ve awarded Bluevale Community Club with over £11,800 of funding to support their Kidz Night and Youth Club.

Here, the youngsters have the chance to socialise with others in a safe environment and enjoy lots of fun activities, from arts and crafts to baking cakes, playing table tennis and football - we even heard there was a bouncy castle!

This amazing charity works with children with complex disabilities using respite and outreach services to bring joy and give them fun, new experiences in a safe and accessible space. Friends of Seaview even built a Geodome, so that the children could have access to the outdoor experiences even in the bad weather – can we get an invite?!
